MassageChairPlanet.Com Visits CES 2020
Daiwa, Ohco, & More!
This year’s CES was a great time, and we here at MassageChairPlanet.Com enjoyed seeing our favorite massage chair brands showcase new products, make their presence known in the market, and wow us with some incredible massages.
Let us show you the sites we got to experience at CES 2020.
Daiwa
The newest brand that we were introduced to at CES was Daiwa. Daiwa is a leading manufacturer distributor of luxury massage chairs in the US. The Japanese word for “great harmony,” the company’s name is designed to reflect their message to their consumers. They are dedicated to creating products that help all parts of your body and achieve personal wellness through therapeutic massage.
Daiwa chairs are developed based on customer-centered research into the holistic health benefits of therapeutic massage. Daiwa chairs use cutting-edge technology and manufacturing. Every new feature they introduce is the result of meticulous quality control testing and user feedback.
The showcased one of their newest chairs at CES this year- the Supreme Hybrid. This hybrid model combines an inversion stretch with an L-Track. It’s designed to offer a greater reach, a deeper stretch, and a better massage. The HybriFlex™ technology has created an innovative bendable massage track. Now, a deeper inverted bend is possible for the first time.
The FullBodyReach™ MultiStroke 6-Roller System is also unique. This totally new design separates the upper and lower massaging arms. One focuses on your upper back, shoulders, and neck using 3D massage rollers, and the other simultaneously massages your lower back and legs.
Plus, the all-new patented leg rest offers a heated knee massage, a calf massage, and ankle & foot massage with triple reflexology rollers. Stretching, heat, compression massage, and reflexology with three zones on the soles of the feet stimulate pressure points and offer incredible pain relief.
The chair also includes a touch-display remote that is mounted in easy reach, and it dynamically changes as you use the chair. Push a button and receive one of 36 massage programs. You’ll also find a quick remote in the chair’s armrest console that allows you to make common adjustments fast and easy. There’s also a built-in USB port and Wireless Charging port so that you can keep your phone or tablet charged during your massage.
According to our Product Manager, Steven Spasich, the chair feels similar to the M.8, and he enjoyed the massage it created. He said the chair was very comfortable and was really impressed by the leg rest which includes more airbags and moved up and down to attend to more of his legs during the massage.
While this chair isn’t on the market yet, it’s coming soon. And as soon as we have it available you’ll know when you sign up for our mailing list. Make sure you order one of these chairs right away and are able to take it home without any issues by signing up now.
Ohco
Ohco showed off their new brand presence and let even more people try their incredible massage chair- the M.8 and M.8 LE. The FFL member, Ohco was busy throughout the days that we visited during CES and the M.8 continues to be a very popular and consumer-favorite chair.
Whatsmore, the latest in VR tech is now being paired with the M.8. This luxury shiatsu massage chair and virtual-reality specialist Esqapes showcased how VR technology could change your massage experience for the better.
The Esqapes Oculus VR headset and the OHCO M.8 massage chair can be paired to provide more than 10 different entrancing environments accompanied by extra-sensory components including sound, heat, and scents for a totally immersive relaxation. Each of these components is triggered by the VR software and was designed to make you feel like you’re in an exotic locale. You can feel warmth near your toes and smell cloves and cinnamon to the scene of a fireplace in the “Snowbank Cabin” environment. And that’s just one of them.
Micah Jackson, founder and CEO of Esqapes, said that “At Esqapes, our goal is to use beautiful, exotic, VR environments to transport people to another place, as they enjoy their full body massage in the luxurious M.8 massage chair. We conducted extensive research and chose the M.8 because it’s the epitome of high-quality, and we are excited to work with OHCO at CES to showcase how VR technology and massage therapy can be paired together for the benefit of relaxation and overall wellness.”
Cliff Levin, founder and CEO of OHCO, stated that “From the inception to the finished product, the OHCO M.8 massage chairs were meticulously designed with the intent to set a new standard of what a luxury massage chair should be. Together with Esqapes, we are proud to be at the intersection where emerging technology and timeless traditions meet in order to help spearhead the future of health and wellness.”
